Lambda is hiring a Staff Technical Program Manager to lead business technology program delivery and portfolio operations. This is the first dedicated program management hire in the Business Technology organization, which builds and scales internal systems powering finance, GTM, engineering, and people functions. You will own end-to-end program management for major enterprise system implementations including ERP, procurement, EPM, HRIS, treasury, and identity systems. Responsibilities span program delivery from contract signature through cutover, hypercare, and stabilization; roadmap operations and portfolio governance; SOX ITGC readiness coordination; and change management discipline. Key deliverables include: establishing lightweight portfolio governance with stage gates and real-time health dashboards for the COO and CFO; running the Business Technology roadmap with unified intake and prioritization; designing formal change management including release calendars and freeze windows; driving cutover and go-live planning with UAT tracking and readiness reviews; managing implementation partners and vendors against SOW milestones; and communicating program status to executive and audit committee audiences. You will build the portfolio operating model from the ground up, establishing intake processes, delivery cadence, and cross-functional coordination across five pillars: Finance Systems, GTM Systems, Data Platform and Analytics, IT Operations, and People Technology. Business Technology is delivering roughly ten new enterprise systems this year with growing integration and data footprint. Required: 8+ years technical program management with at least 4 years running enterprise application or business systems programs (ERP, CRM, HCM, procurement, EPM, data platform). You must have carried at least two large implementations end-to-end as program owner, including cutover and hypercare. Technical fluency in systems architecture, integrations, and data flows is essential. SOX or audit-facing environment experience is required; external auditor experience is a plus. You operate with rigor, maintain single sources of truth and current RAID logs, communicate exceptionally well upward and sideways, and can define process from zero without adding bureaucracy. The role requires presence in the San Francisco or San Jose office 4 days per week, with Tuesday as the designated work-from-home day.
