Tekion is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to own cross-team delivery for a 20-person AI-native engineering organization. This is a technical program ownership role, not project coordination. You will maintain the master delivery plan across two Scrum teams and shared resources, track and resolve cross-team dependencies (platform teams, ARC backend, OEM integrations, design, external vendors), manage risk proactively, and create delivery transparency for Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership to make fast, informed decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the master delivery plan: maintain the integrated roadmap across both Scrum teams, shared resources (Architect, ML, SDET), and external platform dependencies with milestone-level clarity.
- Track and resolve cross-team dependencies: Agentic Engine, Core Platform (Temporal, MCP Gateway, Component Framework), ARC backend (Kafka event contracts, API dependencies), Design (component specs), and external vendors (email/SMS providers).
- Manage risk before it becomes a miss: identify blockers, escalate intelligently, and drive resolution across team boundaries.
- Create delivery transparency: maintain real-time visibility into sprint health, milestone progress, and dependency status for stakeholders.
- Partner with Engineering leadership: support sprint planning, retrospectives, and capacity planning for two teams.
- Drive process improvement: identify bottlenecks in the delivery machinery and propose solutions that scale.
You should have 5+ years of technical program management experience, preferably in fast-moving engineering organizations. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, software architecture, and cross-functional coordination is essential. Experience with AI/ML initiatives, cloud platforms, or automotive tech is a plus.
