Salary: USD 143,000 - 191,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer to lead supplier qualification and production optimization for the Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team. This high-impact, cross-functional role sits at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing, directly enabling Anduril's mission to deliver advanced defense capabilities at scale. You will own mechanical and electrical commodity categories (machining, stamping, composites, thermoplastics) across Anduril's business lines, managing the full lifecycle from new product introduction (NPI) through full production. Key responsibilities include vetting supplier production capabilities and facilities for inclusion on the Approved Supplier List; supporting Supplier Quality Engineers in ensuring adherence to part quality criteria; owning manufacturing process development and new production line initialization at supplier sites; and driving capacity expansion and production ramp-up roadmaps. You will establish statistical process control (SPC) reviews, identify and drive product and process improvements to reduce cost and supply risk, and lead root cause corrective/preventative action task forces in partnership with internal teams and suppliers. This role requires deep technical expertise in manufacturing processes, quality systems, GD&T, CAD, and IPC standards, combined with the ability to influence and collaborate across organizational boundaries. Required: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field; 10+ years of supplier quality and industrialization experience in manufacturing; technical expertise in composites, thermoplastics, IPC standards, CAD, and GD&T; ability to travel 50%+ and relocate to Huntsville, AL; U.S. security clearance eligibility. Preferred: Mechanical or materials engineering background; prior defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industry experience; strong quality systems knowledge; experience in high-mix, low-volume environments; startup or fast-paced environment exposure.
