Oura is seeking a Staff Strategic Sourcing Manager for Logistics to own sourcing strategy, supplier management, and commercial execution across key logistics spend categories that materially impact cost of goods sold. This is a high-impact individual contributor role within the Sourcing team, focusing initially on logistics, warehousing, freight, returns, and related business operations spend.
Key responsibilities include owning sourcing strategy and commercial execution across logistics categories; leading RFQ, RFP, and competitive bid processes including supplier selection, pricing negotiations, SLA alignment, and multi-year agreements; delivering measurable cost reductions through supplier benchmarking, cost modeling, and vendor negotiations; building dashboards and cost models tracking spend, savings, and supplier performance; establishing KPIs and supplier scorecards covering cost, service, quality, and on-time performance; partnering with Logistics, Finance, Operations, and Program teams to align sourcing with service requirements and business priorities; strengthening supplier governance and contract management; and standardizing sourcing processes and commercial documentation.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field; 8-10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain experience with meaningful ownership of indirect spend categories; proven track record in supplier negotiations, RFQ/RFP management, and contracting; excellent analytical, financial modeling, and project management skills; strong communication and collaboration abilities to influence cross-functional stakeholders; experience sourcing logistics, freight, warehousing, 3PL, and returns; and mastery of global trade compliance.
Preferred qualifications include experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; background in consumer electronics, medical devices, or complex physical product environments; familiarity with contract manufacturing and global supply chain networks including tariffs, regulatory requirements, Incoterms, and freight forwarding; experience managing suppliers across North America, Europe, and Asia; and knowledge of procurement, ERP, and supply chain systems.
