You will join the Digital Banking division as a Staff Software Engineer responsible for the full lifecycle development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native. Your responsibilities include architecting, building, and optimizing applications for both iOS and Android platforms in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and troubleshooting mobile applications for highly transactional systems, with expertise in mobile software development, REST APIs, and modern development practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native framework
- Architect, build, and optimize apps for iOS and Android
- Design and implement solutions for highly transactional banking systems
- Write unit tests and participate in test-driven development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Implement DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Contribute to scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant systems
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 11+ years in IT industry
- 4+ years of professional experience building and delivering apps using React Native
- 2+ years of iOS/Android development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in React Native, Swift/Kotlin, Objective C, Xcode/Android Studio, and Git
- Strong command of JavaScript, React JS, HTML, CSS, Java
- Experience building React Native plugins
- Solid working knowledge of Redux, React, Expo, and Jest
- Experience with REST APIs, XML, and JSON
- Proficiency with Agile software development lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Preferred qualifications:
- Deep technical knowledge of distributed architectures
- Experience with test-driven development frameworks or automated testing tools
- Background with highly scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant systems
- SAFe methodologies experience
- Cross-functional expertise in DevOps and CI/CD practices
