OneTrust is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead technical direction in support of Developer Experience. As a Staff Engineer, you will determine your own approach on complex, often ambiguous assignments. Your technical judgment will be trusted well beyond your immediate team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Technical Leadership & Architecture:**
- Lead design and architecture for major features or components, ensuring alignment with the broader system architecture
- Independently determine approach and methods on complex, ambiguous assignments without an established playbook

- Build working relationships and technical credibility beyond your immediate team

- Establish and champion engineering best practices adopted by your team and beyond

**Mentorship:**
- Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and career trajectories
