Salary: USD 180,500 - 271,000 / annual

Relativity Space is building the Terran R rocket to deliver payloads to orbit and advance space exploration. As Staff Program Manager for Spaceport Integration, you will serve as the primary liaison between Relativity and external stakeholders including the U.S. Space Force, NASA, FAA, U.S. Coast Guard, and state agencies. You will coordinate all range-related operations and compliance activities at Cape Canaveral, ensuring adherence to applicable licenses, regulations, and operating procedures. Key responsibilities include: - Serve as primary point of contact for range operations and regulatory compliance, coordinating between internal engineering teams and external government/regulatory stakeholders - Maintain documentation and coordinate activities supporting operational and regulatory compliance - Represent Relativity in meetings and coordination with USSF, NASA, state agencies, USCG, and other regulatory organizations - Coordinate financial and contractual obligations with government stakeholders, tracking funding requirements and resource allocation - Develop and implement processes supporting design compliance, operational readiness, and high-cadence launch operations - Evaluate and improve organizational policies, systems, and processes, including automation and AI opportunities - Participate in mission readiness activities, test article countdown operations, console operations, and emergency response as assigned - Work extended hours, weekends, and non-standard schedules as required for critical mission operations - Travel approximately 25% of the time based on operational needs This role sits at the intersection of all major aspects of Terran R operations—from stages and payloads to ground systems, launch, landing, and refurbishment. You will have exposure to launch vehicle integration, launch operations, control room operations, civil infrastructure development, telemetry coordination, and local permitting. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or related technical discipline - 7+ years of experience managing complex technical projects, programs, or operations - Experience supporting operator console activities in space, launch, test, or related mission operations - Experience supporting national security space programs or other regulated space operations - Experience coordinating with U.S. Space Force, NASA, FAA, or other government/regulatory organizations - Experience supporting launch range operations, spaceport operations, or launch vehicle integration - Experience with regulatory licensing, permitting, or operational compliance activities - Ability to obtain and maintain background screening or access authorization required for Space Force installations - Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical, operational, contractual, and regulatory information - Experience developing or implementing automated processes or tools for technical/operational workflows NICE TO HAVE: - Active U.S. government security clearance
