Salary: USD 97,000 - 119,000 / annual
Guesty is seeking a Staff Professional Services Consultant to lead accounting onboarding and financial operations for strategic mid-market, SME, and enterprise customers. This is a senior individual contributor role (IC4) on the Onboarding team, responsible for delivering expert professional services focused on Guesty's Accounting module.
Key responsibilities include leading complex accounting onboarding projects with custom financial workflow configurations, owner statement setups, and reporting customization tailored to customer needs. You will serve as the primary escalation contact and best practices lead for all North America team members on accounting workflows, proactively partnering with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to resolve issues efficiently.
You will mentor junior Professional Services Consultants (IC1-IC3) and NAM team members on accounting best practices, escalation management, and customer communications. Additionally, you will identify and lead department-wide and cross-functional initiatives to enhance accounting onboarding processes, standardize workflows, and increase scalability across the Onboarding team.
The role requires building strong executive relationships with customer stakeholders, managing multiple complex strategic onboarding projects simultaneously, and ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and timelines are consistently met while proactively mitigating risks. You will adapt technical language for non-technical audiences and act as a liaison between customers and internal teams.
Required qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, plus 2+ years of post-baccalaureate experience in accounting, onboarding, finance, or operations. You must have at least 2 years of experience in SaaS accounting onboarding or financial operations, accounting principles and reconciliation workflows, SaaS financial systems, standardizing workflows and creating scalable processes, and SaaS tools including Salesforce, Jira, Zendesk, Modjo, Chili Piper, and Mixmax.
