Jobber is a leading software platform for small home service businesses (plumbers, electricians, painters, landscapers) that enables quoting, scheduling, invoicing, and payments. The company is expanding aggressively into fintech as a core strategic priority, recognizing that small business owners need integrated financial tools—not just software.
The Staff Product Manager, Fintech New Bets role is a high-impact, senior individual contributor position responsible for discovering, validating, and launching Jobber's next generation of financial products. This includes opportunities in insurance, consumer financing, spend management, card offerings, and business banking tailored for service professionals.
You will own the product strategy and execution for new fintech bets, working from zero-to-one. Key responsibilities include: framing customer problems and sizing opportunities; designing and running lean validation experiments and pilots; making build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions with embedded finance and banking-as-a-service providers; shipping and scaling first versions of financial products; and partnering across Design, Engineering, Data, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and GTM to navigate regulatory and operational complexities.
This role demands deep product expertise, strong zero-to-one instincts, and the ability to lead through influence in a complex, ambiguous domain. You'll operate with high autonomy, form conviction from thin data, kill ideas that don't meet the bar, and bring cross-functional partners along with clarity and speed. Success requires shipped fintech experience, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move fast without breaking trust.
You'll use qualitative and quantitative insights—unit economics, adoption signals, risk performance—to form conviction about which bets deserve further investment. You'll also elevate product thinking across the fintech group, shaping how other PMs and leaders evaluate opportunities and make decisions in emerging financial domains.
