Salary: USD 140,000 - 175,000 / annual
Archer Technologies is an aerospace company building all-electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for sustainable air mobility. We seek a Staff Manufacturing Systems Analyst to lead end-to-end manufacturing technology solutions across SAP and non-SAP platforms.
You will serve as the primary technical contact for manufacturing application systems, partnering with SAP, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives and enable future-state manufacturing capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Deep expertise in aircraft assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair processes—from engineering through shop floor operations and scheduling.
• SAP PP-PEO (Production Engineering and Operations) module mastery: production shop floor order management, production planning, product costing, production scheduling, and logistics execution. Translate business processes into functional specifications and understand integration aspects.
• Customization and configuration of SAP PP-PEO to meet Archer's specific requirements. Enhance functionality, develop new features, and implement changes supporting manufacturing processes and cross-system integrations with SCADA, TeamCenter, and third-party systems.
• Integration and interface development: collaborate across SAP modules and external systems to establish seamless integration and efficient data exchange. Develop solutions ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshooting and support: investigate and resolve SAP PP-PEO issues, working closely with end-users to understand needs and provide effective solutions. Offer technical support and implement enhancements.
• Documentation and testing: create and maintain technical documentation including functional specifications, technical design documents, and test plans. Ensure solutions are fully tested through unit, integration, and user acceptance testing phases.
Required qualifications: 10+ years SAP S4/HANA and MES solution architecture experience; demonstrated experience as SAP PP or PEO Solution Architect; proven track record installing PP/PEO in previous projects; at least 5 years architecting and delivering SAP PP-PEO solutions in complex manufacturing environments; strong knowledge of SAP PP-PEO modules and integration with other SAP modules; experience with shop floor integration, SCADA, and TeamCenter; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred: SAP PEO, PP, WMS certifications; technical writing or documentation experience; Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, engineering, or technical field; aviation and/or automotive EV background.
