Coinbase is seeking a Staff IT Technical Program Manager to own and drive eDiscovery and information governance programs across the organization. In this role, you'll serve as the connective tissue between domain experts and engineering teams, identifying automation opportunities, prototyping solutions with AI and workflow tooling, and driving adoption across the company.
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for eDiscovery and information governance solutions spanning multiple business functions and enterprise platforms. You'll partner with engineering teams to deliver technology programs that transform eDiscovery capabilities from hold through collection, review, and production (EDRM). Your responsibilities include translating regulatory and compliance requirements into actionable system configurations, policies, and controls across platforms such as Slack and Google Workspace.
You'll lead program timelines, dependencies, and risk escalations while maintaining audit-ready documentation including regulatory control matrices, playbooks, and SLAs. You'll build and validate comprehensive test plans for eDiscovery controls and information governance tooling to ensure defensibility and compliance.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of experience in technical program management, information governance, eDiscovery, or regulatory compliance. You should have demonstrated experience managing cross-functional compliance programs with multiple dependencies in dynamic environments. Working knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and hands-on experience with eDiscovery tooling (Relativity, Nuix, Google Vault, Onna) is essential. You must be able to translate regulatory requirements into enterprise system controls and configurations across collaboration and productivity platforms, and have proven ability to build roadmaps, manage dependencies, and drive programs independently. Experience utilizing generative AI responsibly with human oversight is valued.
