Zscaler is seeking an experienced Staff Information Systems Engineer to lead Google Workspace administration and architecture for the organization's Bangalore IT team. Reporting to the Director of Business Applications Support, you will own end-to-end administration, design, implementation, and strategic vision for enterprise Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Docs) and integrated generative AI capabilities, particularly Google Gemini.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and implement enterprise Google Workspace infrastructure with a focus on AI-driven productivity and collaboration
- Champion the rollout, administration, governance, and organizational adoption of Google Gemini Enterprise across all Workspace applications
- Develop automation scripts using Google Apps Script, Google Apps Manager (GAM), and APIs to optimize group management and administrative workflows
- Configure SAML-based SSO and SCIM provisioning for seamless user lifecycle management and role-based access control
- Implement security policies, compliance standards, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), AI governance frameworks, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
- Resolve complex technical escalations, partner with Google and third-party vendors, deliver end-user training, and analyze performance metrics
You bring 10+ years of enterprise Google Workspace administration experience, practical expertise with Google Gemini for Workspace, and deep proficiency with Google Admin Console, Google Vault, Google Apps Script, GAM, and API integrations. You have hands-on experience configuring SAML SSO, SCIM user lifecycle management, and MDM policies. A foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions is essential. A Master's degree in IT/Computer Science and Google Workspace Administrator Certification are preferred.
