N26 is seeking a Strategy & Operations Associate to join the Grow & Engage domain, specifically the Customer Identity team. This role bridges strategy and execution, translating ambitious goals into clear KPIs and measurable business outcomes.
You will own and refine segment strategy, enabling data-driven trade-offs across Engagement and Subscriptions. As a subject matter expert, you'll develop deep understanding of business drivers, infrastructure, and processes. You'll drive KPI discipline through regular performance reviews and ensure progress against core company targets.
Key responsibilities include identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities, building robust business cases to evaluate ROI, and guiding investment toward high-impact initiatives. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, ensuring strong project management, clear ownership, timely delivery, and continuous optimization. You'll monitor performance metrics including product KPIs, unit economics, and external partner SLAs.
You'll act as the central connector across teams and partners—Product, Tech, Data, Growth, Finance—aligning stakeholders, resolving blockers, and driving execution on complex, high-impact topics.
Required background: minimum 3 years experience in fintech, banking, consulting, or B2C startups working on growth, funnel optimization, subscription models, customer engagement, or product-led growth. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related field from a top-tier institution.
Essential skills: proficiency in SQL with ability to independently source data and derive insights; effective visualization and storytelling for presenting insights; experience building business cases and making data-driven recommendations; experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end; strong problem-solving ability; fluent English; interest in banking/fintech industry.
