Salary: USD 161,900 - 242,900 / annual

F5 is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the enterprise-wide Technology Resilience program. This is a strategic, single-threaded leadership role responsible for orchestrating unified strategy across three core pillars: High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Data Protection (Backup). You will own the program's success from long-term strategy through execution and governance, driving complex cross-functional initiatives, managing budgets, and ensuring technology services are architected to withstand disruption. Key responsibilities include defining and driving the enterprise resilience strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives; leading large-scale programs enhancing HA, DR, and Backup capabilities across on-premises and multi-cloud environments; serving as the primary thought leader guiding engineering and operations teams; establishing holistic governance frameworks with policies, standards, and controls; overseeing comprehensive assurance programs including failover testing, backup/restore validation, DR simulations, and tabletop exercises; analyzing program data and industry trends to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement; managing end-to-end program budgets and vendor relationships; and acting as the central communication point for program status, risks, and resilience posture to executive leadership. Required qualifications include 10+ years in technical program management, IT operations, or technology leadership with proven track record managing large complex enterprise programs; deep understanding of technology resilience principles; expert-level knowledge in at least one core pillar (HA/Site Reliability, DR, or Enterprise Backup) with strong familiarity with others; mastery of program/project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, PMP); expertise with project management tools (Jira, Confluence); demonstrated experience managing program budgets and vendor negotiations; exceptional ability to influence without authority across all organizational levels; strong communication skills translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences; strong experience with resilience patterns in AWS, Azure, GCP; and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (MBA preferred). Preferred qualifications include PMP, PgMP, or relevant program management certification, and industry certifications in DR, Business Continuity, or Cloud Architecture.
