Serve Robotics is building autonomous sidewalk robots for urban last-mile delivery. This Senior Technical Program Manager role oversees planning, execution, and optimization of complex hardware and software projects across the company's robotics platform, manufacturing, and deployment efforts.
You will coordinate cross-functional initiatives spanning mechanical, electrical, embedded systems, manufacturing, and operations teams. Key responsibilities include defining project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for robot feature development, continuous upgrade cycles, and new product launches. You'll gather requirements, align priorities across hardware and software engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders, and communicate status updates effectively.
The role emphasizes process development and continuous improvement—you'll design workflows that streamline execution, help teams set up and run effective sprints, analyze existing processes for optimization, and maintain detailed project documentation including technical specs, roadmaps, and status reports.
Required: BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent engineering discipline; 3–5 years in engineering or technical program management; 3–5 years with hardware, systems, or autonomous systems development; demonstrated ability to articulate technical concepts to mixed audiences; proven track record managing complex cross-functional projects and shipping production features; strong relationship-building with senior leaders and engineers across functions.
Preferred: MS in engineering; robotics and autonomous systems experience, especially public-space deployments; familiarity with policy or regulatory aspects of products.
