As Senior Technical Program Manager, you will report to the Sr. TPM Manager and serve as a critical bridge between product, engineering, and customer success teams. Your core responsibilities include managing the complete software development lifecycle for products from conception through deployment, creating detailed initiative plans and timelines, translating product requirements into technical specifications, and coordinating with engineering teams to deliver working products into customer environments.
Key responsibilities: Own the SDLC end-to-end including milestone planning, breaking down specifications into development deliverables, and managing final testing, deployment, and hypercare support. Communicate technical tradeoffs and blockers clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. Define and execute comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) plans with test case coordination and stakeholder sign-off. Own the scrum process and drive continuous improvements to team velocity. Track progress, report regularly to stakeholders, and proactively mitigate risks. Work with engineering leadership to define monthly and quarterly objectives. Act as a versatile team member filling gaps as needed. Ensure quality and completeness of product and project documentation. Maintain focus on top priorities while protecting the team from distractions. Advocate for agile best practices across the organization.
Required qualifications: Strong technical background with comfort using GitHub and understanding generative AI product technical details. Excellent communicator who can influence cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical requirements using clear language. Detail-oriented with expertise in tracking low-level intricacies to inform high-level strategy. Expert-level JIRA proficiency including sprint initialization, dashboard building, workflow automation, and artifact querying. Analytical skills with ability to leverage intelligence dashboards (Superset, Tableau, Looker). Effective change agent with strong rapport-building and perspective-taking abilities. Excellent project execution skills with ability to manage complexity and recover from setbacks. Startup experience strongly preferred.
The role is based in South San Francisco with hybrid flexibility: either two days per week in the Bay Area office or co-working days with the NYC team.
