Relativity Space is building the Terran R rocket to deliver payloads to orbit. This role is a Senior Technical Product Manager focused on manufacturing and supply chain operations, reporting to the Reliability team.
You will own end-to-end enterprise workflows across the factory and supply chain ecosystem, treating each as a product with a full lifecycle. Your responsibilities include architecting and maintaining scalable process infrastructure for Material Requirements Planning (MRP), procure-to-pay, material conveyance, factory automation, and change management. You will blend systems engineering, process design, and software integration to build robust, intuitive, and performance-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect and own end-to-end enterprise workflows across planning, execution, MRP, procure-to-pay, material movement, and change control, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalable technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical infrastructure supporting process-as-a-product workflows, with focus on data integrity, reliability, automation, and enterprise system integration. Monitor and optimize performance across key workflows using real-time data to drive improvements in scheduling accuracy, fulfillment velocity, inventory health, and process compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, software engineering, finance, and operations teams to define requirements, implement process changes, and deliver high-impact systems. Partner with product managers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex operational needs into scalable solutions.
- Lead factory and supply chain automation initiatives by identifying digital transformation opportunities, designing integrated workflows, and ensuring seamless orchestration between physical and digital systems.
- Establish and enforce rigorous standards for change management and data governance across the enterprise, ensuring consistency, traceability, and operational reliability. Deliver and maintain high-quality documentation of technical architecture, process flows, and interface contracts.
The role is positioned at a critical inflection point: Terran R is moving from development into production and scaled operations. You will help establish the right processes, controls, and inspections without slowing progress, balancing risk while fostering a culture of ownership.
The company emphasizes autonomy, ownership, and impact at every level. You will solve problems that haven't been solved before and see your work come to life in record time.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or related discipline
- 3+ years working in supply chain engineering, product engineering, or software engineering role with focus on MRP or ERP systems within advanced manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Javascript, Java, or C#
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain and/or manufacturing processes
- Strong working knowledge of at least one of: Enterprise Planning/MRP for advanced manufacturing, Procure to Pay, Material Conveyance/Material Flow Automation, Change Management/Config Management, Manufacturing Execution/Factory Automation, or Data Integrity/Data Governance
NICE TO HAVES:
- Strong understanding of codebased technical infrastructure and information systems/database architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms and distributed systems
- Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools (version control, continuous integration, automated testing)
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear explanations for non-experts
The posting notes that successful candidates often come from backgrounds such as: Senior Systems/Data Analysts transitioning into software and product design; Software engineers moving into systems and product design; Product managers deepening technical development of systems/platforms/processes; or Operations engineers expanding into software and product design.
