As Senior Systems Engineer for Client Engineering, you will own the complete endpoint platform and device lifecycle for Harvey's global workforce. This role is the technical authority for how every Mac and Windows device is built, secured, patched, recovered, and retired across offices in the US, EMEA, and APAC.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the endpoint platform: Jamf Pro for macOS, Intune and Autopilot for Windows, and mobile fleet management. You set configuration standards, patching cadence, and compliance baselines in partnership with Security.
- Engineering the device lifecycle: Zero-touch provisioning through Apple Business Manager and Autopilot, automated onboarding/offboarding, hardware refreshes, DLP, and forensics. You replace manual processes with code wherever possible.
- Building automation infrastructure: Develop Python and Bash scripts against Jamf, Intune, and Okta APIs; create event-driven workflows and self-service tools that enable employees to resolve their own issues.
- Partnering with Security: Work directly on endpoint policies, EDR coverage, device trust, Okta FastPass, disk encryption, key escrow, and browser management.
- Escalation and problem-solving: Handle complex endpoint issues that tier 1/2 IT Operations cannot resolve, then systematize solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Supporting global operations: Build systems for time zones you aren't in, with strong documentation and training so regional teams can operate independently.
Required qualifications: Minimum 5 years in endpoint/client/IT systems engineering with direct ownership of a macOS MDM environment at 1000+ devices. Deep hands-on Jamf experience plus real Windows management via Intune, Autopilot, and Entra. Strong scripting in Python, Bash, or Swift with a track record of API-driven tooling. Working fluency with Okta (SSO, MFA, device trust). Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bonus: Experience with endpoint security tooling (CrowdStrike/EDR), managed Chrome Enterprise, DLP, and compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
