Rula is seeking a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager to lead the next phase of growth for its psychiatry business. This is a highly cross-functional role partnering with Clinical, Operations, Growth, Product, Finance, and Analytics leadership to define long-term strategy, evaluate new business opportunities, and execute high-impact initiatives.
Key responsibilities include: developing a roadmap to 5x the psychiatry business over three years; researching, scoping, and piloting new service launches or business lines; conducting deep-dive analyses of patient and payor lifetime values to optimize unit economics; translating strategic objectives into scalable operating models; and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from conception through execution.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, combines rigorous analytical thinking with strong operational instincts, and is equally comfortable developing executive-level strategy as executing tactical work. You'll influence key business decisions and drive initiatives that expand access to high-quality psychiatric care.
Required: 7+ years in management consulting, strategy & operations, business operations, or corporate strategy roles at high-growth startups or mid-sized companies. Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel (complex financial modeling, advanced formulas, large dataset analysis). Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into scalable operating models and execution plans. Exceptional written and verbal communication with ability to influence executive stakeholders. Strong executive presence partnering directly with senior leaders. Proven ability to independently lead complex cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred: Experience at high-growth tech companies with healthcare/digital health background. Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Looker) and SQL. Experience leading annual planning, strategic planning, or company-wide operational planning. Track record launching and scaling new products, services, or 0→1 initiatives. Experience evaluating M&A, partnerships, or corporate development opportunities.
