Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing automated aviation systems to transform how goods and people move globally. As a Senior Production Systems Engineer, you'll lead the production organization's technical strategy, owning business systems and factory infrastructure (MES, ERP, MRP) while ensuring seamless integrations that maximize quality and performance. You'll architect and scale production systems from prototype to certification, working directly with design, manufacturing, test, and flight teams. Key responsibilities include developing and managing production systems for compliance with manufacturing processes, quality protocols, and regulatory requirements; planning and driving new features with SaaS partners and internal tools teams; performing trade studies on business systems and infrastructure; deriving, automating, and maintaining KPIs with recommendations for improvements; analyzing production operations to identify bottlenecks in supply chain, manufacturing, installation, and quality assurance; and troubleshooting business systems, integrations, and data issues. You'll also develop AI augmentations, oversee factory infrastructure installation (printers, inspection equipment), and build real-time analytics dashboards. This role requires hands-on involvement in a safety-critical environment where you'll digitally thread the first certifiable autonomous aircraft and set foundational processes for years to come. Required: Bachelor's in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or software engineering; 5+ years in production/operations with significant hands-on business system implementation and optimization; 2+ years programming in Python, C#, or SQL with emphasis on data analysis and automation; strong expertise in analytics and dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau); experience with PLM, ERP, MRP, and MES systems. Preferred: 2+ years with quality management systems (14 CFR 21.137, AS9100); Industry 4.0, IoT, digital twins; PLC/HMI, SCADA, industrial automation; lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical process control; production system architecture evaluation and execution.
