Instructure is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Operations & Strategy to lead the systems and processes that enable the product organization to move faster and smarter. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibility.
You will own board reporting, building and managing quarterly and annual board update materials that translate product performance and strategy into clear, decision-ready content for leadership. You'll manage the operating cadence for key strategic initiatives, including standups, reviews, and cross-functional syncs, ensuring projects stay on track and teams meet deadlines.
You will manage process adherence tracking and continuously improve the tools, templates, and systems the product team relies on. This includes managing contract and spend audits, annual vendor planning, identifying consolidation opportunities, and surfacing cost savings for the product team.
You'll build business cases for new product investments by sizing market opportunity (TAM, SAM, SOM), framing strategic rationale, and providing leadership with the data needed for confident resource decisions. A key focus is leading process automation—designing and deploying AI-enabled workflows, automation pipelines, and product development lifecycle (PDLC) governance models that reduce manual work and accelerate the product team's output.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Five to ten years of experience in product operations, program or project management, strategy, management consulting, or a closely related field, including experience leading cross-functional initiatives
- Proven record of managing board-level or executive reporting; experience building materials for quarterly and annual financial and product performance updates
- Strong project management skills; ability to run a team's operating cadence, keep cross-functional projects on schedule, and hold people accountable to deadlines
- Hands-on experience automating processes; demonstrated ability to build, configure, train, and monitor adoption of processes enabled through agents and agentic workflows
- Experience facilitating workshops with VP-level and senior leaders, driving decisions and building alignment
- Strong design thinking skills; ability to take a messy problem, run a structured process, and turn ambiguity into action
