Salary: USD 300,000 - 350,000 / annual
Together AI is building an AI-native cloud platform for model training and inference, trusted by companies like Cursor, ElevenLabs, Salesforce, and Zoom. As Senior Partnerships Manager for US Model Labs, you will own relationships with the most influential model builders in the United States: frontier labs, AI research organizations inside hyperscalers, chipmakers with model programs, and well-funded independent labs shaping the open-weights landscape.
This role focuses on a small portfolio of very large, complex accounts where success is measured in depth rather than breadth. You will build multi-threaded relationships across research, product, legal, and business teams at partner organizations. Your responsibilities include:
• Own the US lab portfolio: Build and execute partnership strategy for major US model labs, including account plans, executive engagement, and roadmap alignment.
• Land flagship launches: Secure day-zero or day-one availability of anticipated model releases on Together's platform, coordinating pre-release access, technical integration, legal review, and launch marketing.
• Multi-thread across large organizations: Navigate research teams, product leads, developer relations, alliances, legal, and executive sponsors to build support at every level.
• Structure strategic deals: Lead negotiation of distribution, licensing, revenue-share, compute, and co-marketing agreements, including non-standard structures. Handle complex IP, usage-rights, and exclusivity discussions.
• Product and engineering alignment: Work with Product and Engineering to define bring-up requirements, manage NDA'd early access, and optimize new models for inference and fine-tuning stacks.
• Commercial strategy: Partner with Finance to build deal structures balancing growth with unit economics, and model revenue impact of flagship model availability.
• Go-to-market and co-selling: Collaborate with Partner Marketing on joint announcements and campaigns; work with Sales on co-selling motions, joint customer engagements, and partner referral programs.
• Be the voice of the labs internally: Bring market and roadmap intelligence to Product and Leadership; shape how Together AI positions itself relative to labs' own platforms and cloud partners.
You will sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing, frequently representing Together AI to organizations many times its size. This is a strategic deal-making role comfortable with long, ambiguous cycles and sophisticated counterparties.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 7–10+ years in Strategic Partnerships, Business Development, or Alliances, with a track record of closing and growing partnerships with large technology companies where the counterparty had its own BD, legal, and partner teams.
• Proven ability to construct complex, multi-component agreements that don't follow standard templates; comfortable negotiating IP, licensing, revenue-share, and exclusivity with sophisticated counterparties.
• High EQ and executive presence; ability to build trust quickly, manage long relationships through personnel and priority changes, and credible in front of senior leaders at partner organizations.
• Technical fluency: able to discuss model architectures, context windows, licensing terms, and inference and fine-tuning requirements with both partners and internal teams (ML researcher background not required).
• AI-native mindset: work at pace with relentless urgency; prefer "done and iterating" over "perfect and stagnant," even while managing accounts on their own timelines.
BONUS:
• Direct experience at or partnering with a frontier lab, hyperscaler AI organization, or major open-weights model builder.
• Experience with hyperscaler or cloud marketplace partner programs (alliances, co-sell, ISV programs).
• Experience in co-selling motions where partnerships directly drove revenue.
• Background at high-growth API, cloud infrastructure, or developer platform company managing complex ecosystems.
