Salary: USD 93,400 - 120,120 / annual

Vuori, an athletic apparel company blending performance and casual aesthetics, seeks a Senior Merchandise Planner for Women's Bottoms. This strategic role partners with Merchandising, Production, Allocation, and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, inventory optimization, and business growth. You will lead pre-season planning using bottoms-up forecasting, integrating historical performance, customer demand trends, assortment architecture, and merchant vision into comprehensive financial plans. You'll develop and maintain class, attribute, and style-color level forecasts and financial plans, ensuring alignment between assortment, inventory investment, and revenue objectives. Key responsibilities include building weekly sales, markdown, inventory, and receipt plans at style, CC, and class levels; partnering with Production to manage delivery flow and optimize receipt strategies; managing inventory investments to support product launches, optimize inventory turn, and maximize in-stock rates; and conducting comprehensive hindsight analyses to evaluate planning decisions and translate learnings into actionable recommendations. You will analyze business performance to identify risks and opportunities, provide actionable recommendations to maximize sales, margin, and inventory productivity, and drive cross-functional decision-making through clear communication of financial insights and forecasts. You'll prepare and present financial analyses and executive-level recaps for key milestone meetings, champion continuous improvement of planning processes and analytical capabilities, and mentor team members on planning best practices. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or related field, or equivalent years of experience - 6+ years of experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, financial planning, retail analytics, or related discipline - Strong financial, analytical, and quantitative skills with ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical systems - Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams - Proven track record of balancing strategic thinking with detailed execution in fast-paced environments - Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions - Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills; ability to simplify complex analyses for various audiences including senior leadership - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs - Demonstrated curiosity, ownership, and proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving business results
