The company is Series B-funded and operating at the cutting edge of applied AI, bringing robots to market at scale. You will lead and scale operational capabilities ensuring materials and components are available where and when needed. This role owns three interconnected functions: inventory and warehouse operations, logistics and transportation, and procurement and supplier management. Key responsibilities include: Inventory Management & Warehouse Operations: Own end-to-end inventory management with accountability for accuracy, availability, integrity, and material flow. Establish inventory control processes including cycle counting, physical inventories, and reconciliation. Drive measurable improvements in inventory accuracy and eliminate systemic discrepancies. Ensure proper receiving, identification, storage, transacting, picking, staging, and delivery of materials. Develop controls for raw materials, components, work-in-process, finished goods, and tooling. Design and implement barcode/scanning workflows to eliminate manual data entry. Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to ensure inventory supports production. Identify and resolve shortages, excess inventory, obsolescence, and material-flow constraints. Design warehouse layouts and replenishment strategies improving safety, efficiency, traceability, and scalability. Establish standard work and operating procedures with clear ownership. Logistics & Transportation: Own inbound, outbound, and inter-site logistics including domestic and international transportation. Develop reliable, cost-effective logistics strategy aligned with production schedules and customer commitments. Manage freight carriers, third-party logistics providers, and customs brokers. Improve transportation performance across on-time delivery, cost, lead time, and visibility. Establish processes for expedited shipments and reduce premium freight dependence. Ensure appropriate shipping documentation, packaging, labeling, and trade compliance. Develop metrics identifying logistics risks and improvement opportunities. Procurement & Supplier Management: Lead procurement activities ensuring materials are purchased at required quantity, quality, cost, and delivery performance. Build disciplined purchasing processes from requisition through issue resolution. Establish clear supplier performance expectations and drive accountability. Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance to mitigate supplier risks. Lead supplier escalations and recovery efforts. Develop supplier scorecards and corrective-action mechanisms. You are a hands-on operational leader who moves fluidly between strategy and execution, establishing robust controls while supporting fast-paced manufacturing growth.
