Carbon Robotics is the leader in physical AI for agriculture, deploying autonomous systems at scale globally. The company's flagship LaserWeeder uses computer vision, AI, and robotics to eliminate weeds with precision, achieving 80% cost reductions and 5-50% yield increases. Carbon Autonomy provides retrofit tractor autonomy for John Deere equipment. The company has raised $185M from top-tier investors including NVIDIA's NVentures. As Sr. Manager of Autonomous Support Operations, you will own the strategy and execution of remote operations centers that monitor and intervene in real-time autonomous fleet operations worldwide. This is a zero-to-one role building the operational backbone for scaling autonomy. Key responsibilities include: scaling remote operations centers globally with multi-timezone coverage and redundancy models; designing human-in-the-loop workflows and intervention protocols to reduce manual intervention while maintaining safety and uptime; hiring, onboarding, and training international fleet operators with seasonal scheduling aligned to demand; establishing and tracking operational KPIs (intervention rates, response times, operator utilization) via data dashboards; partnering with Engineering, Product, and Field Ops to create feedback loops that drive product improvements; authoring standard operating procedures for monitoring and escalation; and collaborating on remote operations tools and automation. You will report directly into operations leadership and work cross-functionally across technical teams. The role requires building processes and systems from scratch in a complex, ambiguous environment. Initial travel is up to 50% to field sites and regional centers; long-term travel reduces to 25%. Required: 10+ years in operations (robotics, autonomy, logistics, or high-scale real-time systems preferred); experience building and scaling operational teams; strong systems thinking; comfort with ambiguity; data-driven KPI management; cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product. Command center, NOC, dispatch, or remote operations experience is a strong plus.
