Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives for Shockwave Medical, a division pioneering Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) treatment for calcified cardiovascular disease. Based in Santa Clara, CA, this hybrid role will manage complex, enterprise-wide projects across the full lifecycle—from business case development through deployment and post-implementation support. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional technology programs in partnership with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and executive leadership. You will develop project charters, business cases, and ROI analyses; build detailed project plans with schedules, milestones, and risk registers; and manage scope, budget, timeline, quality, and dependencies. You'll facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and executive reviews while providing clear status reporting to leadership. Stakeholder management is central to the role: you'll partner with business leaders to define objectives and success criteria, negotiate competing priorities, facilitate decision-making, and drive organizational change to support adoption. You'll own the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives, and establish or enhance project governance frameworks, methodologies, and reporting processes. You'll lead IT monthly business reviews and support project intake, prioritization, resource planning, and capacity management. Risk management and delivery excellence are critical: identify risks and dependencies early, develop mitigation strategies, monitor project health, conduct post-implementation reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices. You'll also partner with Internal Audit, Quality, and Compliance teams on governance and compliance, support audit readiness, and ensure system implementations meet required governance and validation standards. Required: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; 7+ years managing large-scale, cross-functional IT projects. This is a professional-level role within Johnson & Johnson's MedTech division, combining strategic program leadership with operational excellence in a fast-moving healthcare innovation environment.
