CodeRabbit is the leading AI code review platform trusted by 17,000+ customers and 150,000 open-source projects, processing over 2 million code reviews weekly. The company recently closed a $143M Series C at a $1.5B valuation and is building Agentic Change Management—a control layer for software changes created by humans and AI agents.
As Senior Data Analyst, you will be the primary architect of CodeRabbit's data and analytics infrastructure, reporting to leadership. You'll launch the company's foundational BI tool and build executive and board-level dashboards that drive strategic decisions across Finance, Revenue, Marketing, and Product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Launch and own the foundational BI platform, building initial exec and team dashboards
- Develop executive and board-level reporting for Finance and GTM, including ARR waterfalls, pipeline analysis, funnel metrics, and deal risk assessment
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on target vs. actual gaps, pipeline health, margins, and billing issues
- Build and maintain dbt models that create a governed data layer enabling confident querying across the organization
- Identify and remediate gaps in data warehouse, ETL pipelines, and semantic layer to enforce canonical definitions and shared metrics
- Develop the context layer and agentic harness allowing any CodeRabbit team member to generate dashboards and insights on demand, with built-in testing and review workflows
- Partner collaboratively with Finance and GTM teams to understand their problems and build scalable data products and workflows
You'll join a small Business Systems team that works daily with frontier AI tools, building the first version of analytics infrastructure at a high-growth AI company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years as a data analyst or senior data analyst, ideally at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (BigQuery or Snowflake)
- Experience building and maintaining dbt models and semantic layers
- Experience building dashboards and self-serve analytics in modern BI tools (Omni, Sigma, Looker)
- Working knowledge of finance and GTM metrics: ARR, net/gross retention, bookings, pipeline coverage, CAC, gross margin, and root-cause analysis of forecast misses
- Real experience using agentic tools (Claude Code, Codex) for analysis and building, with portfolio examples
- Comfort working with messy data and understanding trade-offs in insights
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with senior leadership and technical/non-technical peers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Fivetran), and reverse ETL
- Experience at an AI company or early-stage startup where definitions evolve and you build first versions
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and Chargebee billing systems
- Python or TypeScript, Git, code review, or dashboards-as-code tools (Evidence, Streamlit, Observable)
- Experience building agent tooling: MCP servers, agent harness, or CI for analytics
- Finance reporting experience (ERP, month-end close) and exposure to usage-based or PLG-to-sales-led pricing models
