Enveda is seeking a Senior Clinical Development Director to join a biotech company that has achieved unicorn status and is reinventing drug discovery through AI-powered chemistry. The company has raised $150M in Series D funding, is backed by Sanofi, Lux Capital, and Baillie Gifford, and has former Pfizer R&D chief Mikael Dolsten on the board. The platform discovers new medicines approximately 4x faster than industry standard, with first medicines now in clinical trials and a deep pipeline in development.
In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic leader without direct reports. You will partner closely with the VP of Clinical Development on asset strategy and take hands-on ownership of key study activities. Your responsibilities will include working with translational, clinical development, operations, and statistics teams to drive program efficiencies and successes. In the first year, key activities include reviewing data from Enveda's first Phase 2 study for the lead asset ENV-294, leading expansion of this asset into new therapeutic areas (potentially dermatology and beyond), designing new clinical trial protocols for specific indications, preparing and reviewing data packages and presentations, and becoming a deep expert in ENV-294's mechanism, data, and communication strategies for investors and clinicians.
This is a high-impact opportunity to influence the outcome of Enveda's lead asset while collaborating with top talent in the industry. The role requires monthly travel.
Requirements:
- Experience designing new clinical trials and associated supporting documents
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team interactions
- Strategic expertise in asset expansion, pathway to registration, and commercialization planning
- In-depth data analysis and presentation capabilities
- Passion for innovation and impact (the company encourages applications even if you don't meet every requirement)
