Rula is seeking a Senior Business Operations Manager to lead strategic, cross-functional projects that drive the company's growth in mental health care. This is a remote-first role based in the United States (excluding Hawaii).
In this position, you will spearhead complex, business-critical initiatives from conception through scaled execution. You will operate across all stages of project lifecycles, setting strategic frameworks, decomposing multifaceted problems, building data-driven recommendations, and establishing project requirements. The role demands end-to-end ownership with strong coordination of cross-functional partners and independent execution capability.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing strategic projects that align teams and drive measurable business impact
- Converting high-level goals into detailed operational plans across multidisciplinary teams
- Building analytical models and business cases to support decision-making
- Partnering directly with senior leadership to drive alignment and facilitate strategic conversations
- Establishing performance measurement frameworks and operational mechanisms
- Managing complex, long-term initiatives requiring sustained cross-team coordination

REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of combined experience in management consulting, Business Operations and Strategy, financial analysis, demand planning, or strategic planning roles within high-growth or mid-sized companies
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Intermediate analytical modeling skills (Google Sheets, Excel) and proficiency writing SQL queries independently
- Demonstrated ability to convert goals into operational plans across multidisciplinary teams, including performance measurement and system/mechanism design
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and senior stakeholders
- Strong executive presence with experience partnering directly with senior leaders and facilitating challenging conversations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in startup or fast-paced company environments
- Proficiency with BI tools (Looker, Hex, PowerBI, Tableau) for building business cases and deep-dive investigations
- Experience leading and delivering 2+ long-term projects requiring 6+ months of continuous cross-team coordination
- Proven 0-to-1 execution experience with track record of launching new business lines, products, or major strategic initiatives from concept to rollout
