Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations to harness IoT data for actionable insights across physical operations including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing. You will play a critical role in scaling Samsara's post-sales organization, spanning renewals and customer success. As the Senior Business Operations Analyst, you'll be the expert on critical data sources, translating complex datasets into insights that drive strategic decisions across the post-sales business. Key responsibilities: - Own analytics and trend reporting for an assigned segment within renewals and customer success, serving as the go-to analyst for leadership and frontline managers. - Extract and reconcile data across Salesforce, financial systems, and customer success platforms, transforming complex datasets into reliable, decision-ready analysis. - Design post-sales processes and drive adherence across renewals and CS teams, monitoring compliance and partnering with team leads to close operational gaps. - Build and maintain reporting on utilization, product adoption, and expansion for the existing customer base to inform retention and growth strategy. - Partner with Sales Strategy, Business Operations, Finance, and Customer Success leadership to translate data into recommendations that improve renewal rates, reduce churn, and grow revenue retention. - Support quarterly and annual reporting on post-sales performance—bookings, pipeline health, and key trends—for business reviews and leadership presentations. - Maintain a working understanding of renewals and CS operating models to identify risk, inconsistency, and improvement opportunities. You bring 2+ years in management consulting, Sales/Business Operations, financial analysis, or another highly quantitative role. You're comfortable working with large datasets to build models, run analyses, and surface trends. Familiarity with Salesforce, Tableau, or similar sales/CS tech stacks is required. Post-sales experience and process design/adoption experience are valued. You communicate clearly, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Note: This role is open to US-based candidates except those in the San Francisco Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, or Washington D.C. Metro Area.
