The company operates a network of over 30,000 vetted vendors serving clients with 1+ million properties and completing 3.5+ million work orders annually. The Specialty Commercial District Lead role is a management position overseeing operational teams that service specific high-value trades. You will drive strategic facilities management initiatives, manage financial responsibilities across assigned portfolios, and ensure consistent delivery of operational and financial performance for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute long-term facilities management strategies aligned with company goals - Manage larger financial responsibilities to ensure fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency - Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership to optimize processes and improve efficiencies - Oversee adherence to regulatory, safety, and compliance requirements, ensuring facilities meet industry standards - Identify and implement new technologies or automation tools to improve facility operations - Manage operational teams servicing specific trades to deliver results meeting or exceeding client expectations - Monitor operational and financial performance of assigned teams; identify root causes of deficiencies and recommend resolutions - Develop systems and processes to identify potential issues before client escalation; escalate only severe issues with actionable recommendations - Supervise Facility Managers and Customer Service Representatives to enforce quality, accuracy, and policy adherence standards - Hold direct reports accountable for managing spend within assigned portfolios to benefit clients - Use KPIs and quantitative indicators alongside qualitative observation to assess team performance - Provide informal coaching and formal feedback to direct reports at prescribed intervals Requirements: - 2-3 years of people management experience - Experience managing multiple vendors for day-to-day work order management and small to large capital projects - Strong communication and organizational skills - Experience in facilities management, maintenance management, building engineering, maintenance trades, or related fields (a plus)
