Justworks is seeking a Specialist, Payments Operations to help ensure money moves safely, accurately, and reliably across the platform. In this role, you will execute critical payment workflows including payment processing, funds movement, reconciliations, and exception handling. You will investigate and resolve payment issues using data and sound judgment, taking ownership through resolution. Your responsibilities include protecting customers and the company by following established controls, recognizing potential risks, and escalating issues appropriately.
You will identify opportunities to improve processes and tools, providing feedback on how Payments Operations can work better. The role emphasizes adopting new tools and automation, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve accuracy and efficiency while sharing learnings with the team.
Success in this role requires owning outcomes, executing with care given the financial impact of payment operations, using good judgment to determine when to escalate, and being curious about how systems work and how they could improve.
