Cresta is hiring a founding Special Projects Manager for its AI Agents team. This is a high-impact operational leadership role embedded within Cresta's forward-deployed team, which works directly with enterprise customers (F500 companies like United Airlines, Cox Communications, Marriott) to drive production AI Agent deployments.
You will own three core areas:
**Business Operations**: Lead weekly business reviews for the forward-deployed team, tracking OKRs including revenue and pilot-to-conversion metrics. Design and implement an AI-powered knowledge management system to centralize team expertise, establish documentation standards, and drive accountability across specialized topics. Build internal tools and processes to enable rapid team scaling—the team is on an 8x headcount growth trajectory.
**Special Projects**: Lead cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and operations, including deployment pattern synthesis, verticalization strategies, and AI Agent product SKUs. Seed key initiatives from concept through proof-of-concept before transitioning them to dedicated roles (e.g., verticalization, Agent Academy for customers).
**Brand & Thought Leadership**: Grow the Cresta AI Agent deployment brand by driving content strategy, blog posts, team spotlights, and customer case studies.
You'll work in a high-velocity environment where you're equally comfortable developing strategy and building automations. The ideal candidate has 4–8 years in fast-scaling tech companies, with experience in business operations, strategy & operations, chief of staff roles, or product operations. You should have a strong track record building playbooks, pipelines, and operational processes. Bonus: startup/high-growth experience and familiarity with AI agents or agent-building.
Cresta was founded by leaders from Google's Contact Center AI and Vertex AI teams, has raised $270M+ from top-tier investors (a16z, Greylock, Sequoia), and is redefining how enterprises deploy conversational AI.
