Dexory is building cutting-edge robotics and software transforming global logistics. This Sourcing Specialist role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and supplier ecosystems, requiring 4+ days per week onsite in Wallingford.
You will own end-to-end sourcing strategies for direct materials and outsourced assemblies, identifying and onboarding contract manufacturers capable of scaling with demand. Key responsibilities include leading RFQs/RFPs that balance technical specifications, BOMs, and manufacturability; assessing supplier capability across processes, quality systems, and scalability; and negotiating deals that optimize cost, capacity, risk, and long-term value.
You'll drive seamless handoffs from in-house to external manufacturing, partner with engineering on new product introduction (NPI) to ensure supply readiness, and make data-backed make-vs-buy decisions. The role demands continuous improvement of supplier performance across quality, delivery, and responsiveness, plus building supply chain resilience through dual sourcing, risk mitigation, and IP protection.
Required: 5+ years in sourcing/procurement within manufacturing, hands-on contract manufacturing or outsourced production experience, ability to read technical drawings and BOMs, strong grasp of total cost of ownership (TCO), confident negotiation skills, and comfort navigating complexity across multiple suppliers and stakeholders.
Bonus experience includes scaling supply chains in high-growth environments, working with global suppliers and international logistics, and building outsourcing strategies from scratch.
