Align platform sourcing strategies with hardware and network architecture roadmaps, deployment forecasts, and long-term data center growth plans. Evaluate build-versus-buy and disaggregation trade-offs. Maintain deep market intelligence on ODM/OEM ecosystem economics and how peers structure build relationships. **Commercial Negotiation & Contracting**: Lead system-level commercial negotiations covering master manufacturing agreements, system and rack-level pricing, bill of materials cost transparency, capacity reservations, NRE and tooling agreements, software/firmware licensing, warranty and RMA terms, and logistics/Incoterms. Build negotiation strategies balancing total landed cost, supply security, and configuration flexibility. Drive competitive RFQ/RFP events end-to-end. Partner with Legal and Finance to structure and finalize contracts. **Partner Management**: Manage day-to-day and executive-level relationships with strategic ODM and OEM partners. Lead quarterly business reviews, scorecards, and performance improvement plans. Partner on manufacturing capacity planning, build slot allocation, and production readiness. Serve as primary commercial point of contact and escalation owner. Coordinate with adjacent sourcing owners to align cost, capacity, and schedule commitments. **New Product Introduction & Ramp**: Support new platform introductions from EVT through mass production, owning the commercial workstream at each gate. Align build schedules and capacity ramps with deployment commitments. Drive early sourcing engagement to ensure manufacturability and cost are designed in. Manage engineering change commercial impact and transition exposure. **Cross-Functional Partnership**: Partner with Hardware, Network, and Data Center Engineering to translate platform and rack requirements into sourcing strategies. Work with Supply Chain Planning to align manufacturing capacity and lead times with demand forecasts. Partner with Finance on cost models and capex forecasting.
