As Sourcing Manager for Kids & Baby Shoes, you will own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle for this category. Your responsibilities include identifying and vetting potential suppliers, negotiating terms, and onboarding new vendors with clear success criteria and scalability assessments. You'll manage ongoing supplier relationships through performance reviews (WBR/MBR), vendor training, and operational excellence initiatives.
You will collaborate with merchants and procurement teams to optimize pricing, costs, and commercial terms while hitting margin targets. A key focus is building speed and scalability—working with vendors to enable fast replenishment through material staging, capacity planning, and data-driven sales forecasting. You'll ensure all suppliers meet Quince's legal, ethical, and sustainability standards, including fair labor practices and relevant certifications.
You'll also develop contingency plans and counter-sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risk. Throughout, you serve as an ambassador to partner factories, building deep, trust-based relationships that support Quince's mission to democratize quality and value. This role requires balancing vendor success with Quince's operational and financial goals in a fast-growing, mission-driven organization.
