As Sourcing Manager for Kids & Baby Apparel, you will lead end-to-end sourcing operations for the Kids & Baby category, managing vendor relationships and supply chain excellence across multiple Asia-Pacific locations (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Vietnam).
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct business need analytics and identify, vet, pitch, and onboard vendors that meet Quince's standards for quality, cost, speed, reliability, and scalability
• Rapidly pitch and onboard vendor partners with clear criteria for test periods and scalability assessment
• Manage supplier relationships through vendor onboarding, performance management via weekly business reviews (WBR) and monthly business reviews (MBR), and continuous improvement
• Drive excellence in partner operations for existing suppliers while expanding the supply base and improving product costs, quality, and commercial terms
• Collaborate with merchants and procurement teams on pricing and cost optimization to achieve margin targets
• Build for speed and scalability by working with vendors and internal teams on fast replenishment, material staging, capacity management, and sales data analytics
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and sustainability standards, including fair labor practices and relevant certifications
• Develop risk management and contingency plans, including counter-sourcing and backup vendor strategies
• Act as an ambassador to partners, building and deepening relationships for continuous improvement
Requirements:
• 10+ years of sourcing and merchandising experience in Kids & Baby categories
• Self-motivated, proven ability as a self-starter and quick independent learner who adapts swiftly to new challenges
• Exceptional attention to detail with a data-driven approach to decision-making and problem-solving
• Strong analytical mindset focused on execution, process improvement, and brand enhancement
• Continuous learner with proactive attitude, open to new perspectives and adaptable to changing circumstances
• Supply chain or operations background with a track record contributing to well-rounded understanding of the retail landscape
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams; skilled in written and verbal communication and presentation
