Monograph is a firm performance management platform for architecture and engineering practices. The company is seeking a GTM Engineer to build systems that help identify, convert, and retain customers by connecting prospect and customer data across multiple systems, reducing manual work, and automating revenue-impacting workflows. In this role, you will own five key areas: 1. **Identify and prioritize GTM problems**: Work with Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and CX to map the customer journey from first interaction through renewal, identifying missed leads, slow handoffs, lost data, and repetitive manual work. Prioritize projects based on revenue impact, team benefit, effort, and risk. 2. **Connect and improve GTM data**: Integrate data across Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, Gong, websites, product, support, and billing systems using APIs and automation tools. Build workflows to clean, enrich, deduplicate, and sync lead, opportunity, and customer data. Standardize data fields, permissions, and lifecycle rules with RevOps. 3. **Improve scoring and prioritization**: Use first- and third-party data to identify high-fit prospects, at-risk deals, and churn/expansion candidates. Enhance lead scoring, contact categorization, and account matching. Leverage AI for research, summarization, classification, and personalization where it outperforms standard automation. 4. **Build and maintain reliable workflows**: Design multi-system workflows using automation tools, SQL, and lightweight code. Test with real users and data before launch, including edge cases and failure scenarios. Own workflows from launch through monitoring, maintenance, and retirement. 5. **Measure results and drive adoption**: Define success metrics before launch, track adoption and business impact post-launch. Use testing data to improve, scale, or retire workflows. Train users, gather feedback, and document processes. Example problems you may solve include: building prospect scoring systems that route leads to SDRs/BDRs, creating reliable account/contact views across systems, using call transcripts to identify deal risks, automating account research and CRM updates, building customer health models to predict churn, and identifying expansion opportunities from product usage and engagement data. You will partner closely with the VP Marketing (who sets priorities), Revenue Operations (CRM and lifecycle management), Marketing Operations (campaign execution and attribution), Marketing/Sales/BDR/CX teams (who define workflows), and Product/Engineering/Data/Security teams (who set infrastructure standards). Success is measured by delivering measurable improvements in conversion, pipeline progression, retention, or expansion, and by reducing manual work to enable faster follow-up on high-priority prospects and customers. **Requirements:** - 4+ years in GTM Engineering, RevOps, Marketing Ops, Growth Engineering, business systems, data automation, or related field, with examples of systems personally built - Strong knowledge of B2B SaaS funnels, CRM, marketing automation, lead and account management, sales workflows, and customer retention - Hands-on experience designing multi-system workflows with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Clay, n8n, Make, Zapier, Workato, or comparable tools - Working fluency with APIs, webhooks, JSON, SQL, data transformation, and AI-assisted scripting in Python, JavaScript, or similar language - Experience using LLMs or AI agents for GTM workflows, with controls for quality, privacy, errors, and human review - Ability to define requirements, explain tradeoffs, and work across technical and nontechnical teams - Track record of measuring adoption and business impact, not just shipping automations or implementing tools **Helpful but not required:** - Experience in vertical SaaS, ideally architecture and engineering software
