Fal is a generative media infrastructure platform that provides high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability tools for AI-native products. As Sourcing Manager for Cloud Procurement, you will own the complete sourcing lifecycle for GPU capacity and compute infrastructure that powers Fal's platform.
Your core responsibilities include:
- Owning GPU capacity sourcing across hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), neocloud providers (CoreWeave, Lambda, Nebius), and infrastructure partners (Digital Ocean, etc.)
- Negotiating multi-million dollar commercial agreements covering pricing, committed capacity, SLAs, expansion rights, and performance terms
- Developing allocation strategy and buffer inventory to ensure infrastructure buildout is never constrained by hardware availability
- Partnering with capacity planning teams to forecast demand, secure future capacity, and optimize the cost-availability-performance tradeoff across multiple providers
- Building and scaling procurement processes in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
You bring 7-10+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, cloud partnerships, or infrastructure vendor management experience. You have a proven track record negotiating large infrastructure and cloud agreements worth millions annually. You understand GPU infrastructure economics, capacity planning dynamics, and can build strong executive relationships with infrastructure vendors. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, building processes from scratch rather than inheriting them, and thrive in high-growth settings. Experience managing GPU allocation during supply constraints is a plus.
