Salary: USD 129,800 - 241,100 / annual
Veeam, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across key spend categories. You will partner with business leaders, Category Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable results in cost savings, supplier performance optimization, and operational efficiency.
In this role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals, leading end-to-end sourcing events including RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, and competitive bidding processes. You'll conduct market research, supplier assessments, and benchmarking analyses to inform strategic recommendations. You will evaluate supplier proposals, facilitate bid analysis, and present recommendations to key decision-makers while building and maintaining strong supplier relationships that drive performance and continuous improvement.
You will negotiate commercial agreements and contract terms to secure optimal value, service levels, and quality outcomes. Managing the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and execution through renewals, amendments, and closeout—you'll partner with Legal, Finance, and business teams to identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks. You'll ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements.
Operationally, you will analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-reduction opportunities and process improvements. You'll mentor Buyers and procurement team members on sourcing methodologies and best practices, driving procurement excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. You'll maintain accurate records within procurement systems like Coupa and contribute to team and departmental objectives through achievement of KPIs and strategic initiatives.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience), plus 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within a multinational organization. You must demonstrate success leading sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract management. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, and experience with procurement technologies (preferably Coupa) are essential. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
