Mistral is a full-stack AI company providing frontier models, developer tools, applications, and compute infrastructure. They partner with enterprises across finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector to co-create customized AI systems. As Solution Operations Manager, you will serve as a direct business partner to the Solutions team (Deployment Strategists and Applied AI Engineering), working closely with leadership to optimize the operational aspects of Mistral's deal lifecycle. You'll develop detailed pre-sales and post-sales operational plans aligned with delivery forecasts, analyze Solutions team performance, and establish processes and KPIs to improve efficiency as the technical pre-sales and post-sales motions scale rapidly. Key responsibilities include: **Technical Go-to-Market Execution**: Develop frameworks to standardize how the Solutions team approaches different customer technical needs across segments. Identify opportunities for experiment-driven improvements in technical sales and implementation processes. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with sales, product development, and revenue operations to align technical implementation capabilities with customer needs. Support development of professional services offerings and technical engagement models. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to incorporate Solutions feedback into the product roadmap. Prepare materials for executive reviews on implementation successes and challenges. **Delivery Excellence**: Design and implement scalable frameworks and AI products that help Solutions teams consistently deliver value from pre-sales through post-sales. Translate successful delivery patterns into repeatable, operationalized processes. Partner with technical and client-facing teams to identify friction points and build systems to resolve them. Own rollout of new methodologies with clear documentation, training, and change management. Track delivery performance and use data to continuously improve operations. **Data-Driven Decision Support**: Identify and operationalize metrics to optimize Solutions team impact on customer success and revenue. Create and maintain reporting mechanisms around technical implementation KPIs. Synthesize strategic recommendations for cross-functional deployment. Required qualifications: 3+ years in strategic operations, operations, or chief of staff roles within technical sales, solutions engineering, or professional services. Proven track record optimizing processes, impacting business KPIs, and aligning resources. Exceptional negotiation and diplomacy skills. Hands-on, execution-focused mindset in ambiguous, fast-changing environments. Technical acumen and AI fluency. Strong analytical skills with experience in Salesforce, data warehouses, and BI tools (Looker, Hex, BigQuery). Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. Native English fluency; additional European languages a plus.
