Alpha Online, part of CarOnSale (an AI-driven operating system for B2B used-car trading in Europe), is seeking a Software Support Specialist to serve as the primary point of contact for automotive dealerships using AlphaController, a process-management platform that handles vehicle valuation through to sale. The role bridges customer support and technical operations, requiring both empathy and analytical rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as first-line support (1st/2nd Level) for customer inquiries via phone and email, managing case administration and escalation workflows
- Configure AlphaController to customer specifications, including feature activation and permission structures
- Proactively analyze software dependencies and error sources to prevent customer-facing issues
- Conduct manual testing of each software release to ensure quality before deployment
- Investigate and resolve integration issues with partner systems, coordinating between external partners and internal development teams
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of direct customer-facing support or customer service experience, combined with technical understanding of complex software processes and system integrations. You should be analytically minded, structured in your approach, and genuinely enjoy solving problems for customers. German language proficiency at C2 level and English at B2 level (written and spoken) are required.
Preferred qualifications include experience in the automotive sector and formal IT/software training (e.g., as a certified IT specialist).
