Pickle Robot is building Physical AI to automate global supply chains, starting with robotic truck unloaders that work alongside warehouse teams. The company is developing generalized autonomy (Dill Autonomy Engine) to orchestrate robots across entire logistics processes.
As SQA Manager, you will build Pickle's software quality function from the ground up and own the end-to-end quality lifecycle for robotic truck unloaders. This spans test strategy and standards during development, validation in simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments, and release readiness assessment in customer facilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Hire and mentor an SQA team, establishing the quality culture and capability
- Define and implement scalable QA processes and test automation frameworks
- Establish metrics and criteria that determine software release readiness
- Partner cross-functionally with software, firmware, systems, hardware, product, and deployment teams to embed quality early in development
- Own quality strategy for a growing fleet of robots operating in real-world logistics environments
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on technical work, including debugging and validation
This role is ideal for someone who thrives building structure in greenfield environments, moves fluidly between strategy and technical execution, and is energized by the complexity of hardware-software integration in real-world conditions. You'll directly impact the reliability and scalability of Pickle's autonomous systems.
