Commure is building an AI Operating System for healthcare, transforming how care is delivered, documented, and financed. The platform combines Ambient AI and Dictation to eliminate documentation burden, intelligent Agents to automate patient and revenue workflows, and autonomous RCM processing. With 500,000+ clinicians across 500+ healthcare organizations using the platform to handle $25B+ in annual claims and support 200 million patient interactions, Commure has raised $70M at a $7B valuation and was named to Fortune's Future 50 list and 2026 AI Breakthrough Awards for "Overall NLP Company of the Year."
You'll join a small, fast-moving engineering team with ambitious growth goals. The role is full-time, based in Mountain View, CA, requiring 5 days per week in office with occasional customer travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and scale features for the AI medical scribe using cutting-edge LLM models to create accurate, structured clinical notes
- Build polished, responsive user experiences across web and iOS applications
- Build and maintain robust infrastructure for audio processing, cloud services, and integrations with 60+ enterprise EHR systems
- Lead projects from zero to one in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with product and design teams
- Work directly with customers: join calls, gather feedback, and rapidly iterate on product improvements
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and external stakeholders
The team works directly alongside clinicians without layers of process, meaning the gap between what you build and its impact on patient care is immediate. You'll move fast, deploy daily, and take full ownership from early thinking to production.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent extensive experience
- 1–4 years of professional software development experience (strong new grads who demonstrate ability to pick up new technologies quickly are encouraged to apply)
- Strong experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js/Express)
- iOS development experience with Swift and/or React Native
- Experience developing for both web and mobile, specifically iOS
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and perform well in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
