Snowflake is hiring a Software Engineer for its Mobile Team to build mobile experiences for agentic AI products, including Snowflake CoWork (an agentic AI workspace for enterprise knowledge workers) and Snowflake CoCo (Cortex Code, an AI coding agent). You will own the full product lifecycle from conception through App Store and Play Store releases, building polished, production-quality mobile features. Key responsibilities include: - Building and shipping production-quality mobile features using TypeScript and React Native - Writing clean, performant, and maintainable code while adhering to engineering best practices - Participating in mobile and frontend architecture discussions, design reviews, and peer code reviews - Collaborating with product managers and UX/UI designers to convert requirements into technical tasks and robust mobile UI components - Partnering with backend and cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and support backend services for AI inference and data retrieval - Contributing to web frontend work as needed across the mobile, web, and broader agentic ecosystem - Using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) as an integral part of your daily development workflow Snowflake emphasizes an AI-native mindset, seeking engineers who treat AI as a high-trust collaborator, thrive in dynamic environments, and move with an experimental mindset to discover simpler and more powerful ways to deliver results. Requirements: - 2+ years of professional experience designing and building production mobile applications with React Native - Strong product mindset with deep care for user experience and ability to own features end-to-end from ambiguous problem to shipped outcome - Strong hands-on proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and the modern React ecosystem - Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, UI design patterns, and state management - Proven ability to turn design mocks and product specs into production-quality code - Experience with mobile app fundamentals: navigation, gesture handling, offline behavior, push notifications, and app store release processes - Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and design - BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
