Salary: CAD 110,000 - 151,800 / annual
Okta's Auth0 is an authentication and authorization platform serving over 100 million daily logins globally. The Organizations team is expanding Auth0 to help B2B SaaS applications manage access for their customers and partners at scale, enabling enterprise users to log in with appropriate permissions and helping B2B customers onboard access easily.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers inside and outside the team to design and deliver powerful new enterprise functionality for SaaS customers, both for the login flow and Auth0's direct and self-service management capabilities. You'll develop technical improvements to the codebase and architecture, and occasionally help drive improvements to shared stacks of functionality such as internal tooling for interactive product testing.
The team works primarily in Node.js (JavaScript and TypeScript) with PostgreSQL for data, running services on AWS and Azure with heavy use of containers for development and production.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience using Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript) and creating and maintaining public APIs
- Full-stack app development experience (front-end and back-end)
- Experience with systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, and scalable
- Strong engineering practices and testing experience
- Ability to work autonomously while knowing when to seek team help
- Experience with Docker and cloud environments (AWS and Azure preferred)
DESIRABLE:
- IAM/OAuth2 experience
- DevOps culture understanding and experience (Terraform, infrastructure reasoning)
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience with large datasets and query optimization
- Security engineering and application security knowledge
