Revolut is a fintech super app serving 80+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company has 13,000+ employees across offices and remote locations.
The Technology team builds the systems and infrastructure that power Revolut's platform. You will join the Site Reliability team as a DevOps Engineer, responsible for building scalable infrastructure from scratch to support Revolut's rapid expansion into new markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Build infrastructure and processes to enable entry into new markets and support 10x scaling
- Deliver Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD solutions across multi-cloud and on-premise environments
- Architect multi-cloud regional failover, disaster recovery planning, and self-service business continuity planning to ensure mission-critical reliability
- Design and implement third-party connectivity solutions from scratch to handle high-volume, complex integrations
- Create and maintain security-related infrastructure, automate patching, ensure audit readiness, and support regulatory reporting
- Implement and maintain managed services (Postgres, Redis) across cloud and hybrid environments
You will work independently across internal teams and third parties to design and deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions.
Requirements:
- Hands-on software engineering skills with backend development experience
- Experience with Linux, Docker, and cloud providers (GCP and AWS)
- Knowledge of distributed systems (scaling, fault-tolerance, load-balancing, networking, security)
- Experience with continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)
- Experience with continuous delivery using Kubernetes
- Ability to work independently across internal teams and third parties
Nice to have:
- Experience with monitoring solutions (NewRelic, StackDriver, Prometheus)
- Expertise in on-premise and hybrid environments using tools like KubeVirt
