Revolut is a fintech super app serving 80+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company is rapidly scaling and seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Site Reliability team.
In this role, you will build scalable infrastructure from scratch to support Revolut's expansion into new markets and 10x growth. You'll deliver Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD solutions across multi-cloud and on-premise environments, architecting systems that prioritize reliability and security at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building infrastructure and processes to enable market entry and 10x scaling
- Delivering provisioning (IaC) and CI/CD solutions across multi-cloud and on-premise environments
- Architecting multi-cloud regional failover, disaster recovery planning, and self-service business continuity
- Designing and implementing third-party connectivity from scratch to handle high-volume, complex integrations
- Creating and maintaining security-related infrastructure, automating patching, ensuring audit readiness, and supporting regulatory reporting
- Implementing and maintaining managed services (Postgres, Redis) across cloud and hybrid footprints
You will work independently across internal teams and third parties to design and deliver scalable, end-to-end solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Hands-on software engineering skills with backend development experience
- Experience with Linux, Docker, and cloud providers (GCP and AWS)
- Knowledge of distributed systems (scaling, fault-tolerance, load-balancing, networking, security)
- Experience with continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Familiarity with configuration management and deployment tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL)
- Experience with continuous delivery using Kubernetes
- Ability to work independently across internal teams and third parties
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with monitoring solutions (NewRelic, StackDriver, Prometheus)
- Expertise in on-premise and hybrid environments using tools like KubeVirt
