ServiceNow is seeking a Software Engineer to build cybersecurity integrations that bridge conventional security stacks with next-generation, AI-driven insights. This role focuses on designing and deploying scalable integrations and intelligent agents that transform raw telemetry into actionable risk intelligence.
You will collaborate with senior engineers to build and maintain resilient integrations (APIs, webhooks, streaming data) across the security ecosystem. You'll implement modern design patterns supporting AI-native workflows and automated threat handling, troubleshoot customer friction points, and contribute to reusable libraries and data-mapping frameworks for enterprise security tools. You'll partner with cross-functional R&D and Product teams to implement features improving automated risk management and help enhance integration components for low-code and self-service capabilities.
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site office attendance a few times each week in Bangalore.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 5 years of Python engineering expertise with focus on production-grade, maintainable codebases (cybersecurity experience is a plus)
- Deep networking fundamentals including strong knowledge of TCP/IP and L3-L7 protocols
- Experience with high-throughput, enterprise-scale distributed systems, async and synchronous programming
- Product-minded approach: solving critical problems for customers, not just writing code
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Kafka/message queues, and LLM-powered application development (RAG, agentic workflows)
- Proactive "can-do" attitude with mindset focused on continuous learning and innovation
