Conga is seeking a Software Engineer, AI to join the AI/ML team in Bangalore and contribute to the development of next-generation AI and GenAI-based products and solutions. You will work on cutting-edge SaaS technologies used by enterprises worldwide, participating in the entire AI development lifecycle from data collection and preprocessing through model training, evaluation, and deployment.
In this role, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions in a collaborative environment. You'll assist in researching and experimenting with state-of-the-art generative AI techniques to improve model performance and capabilities. You will review code developed by other developers, providing feedback aligned with industry best practices and coding guidelines. You'll work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle, report bugs and errors to development teams, and evaluate product code according to specifications.
You'll take ownership of working with product management on requirements to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software in production, operating within a DevOps model. The role emphasizes resourcefulness, collaboration, awareness of company vision and goals, and confident communication.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years of software development experience with practices and design patterns
- Expertise in Python, FastAPI, PyTest, Celery, and other Python frameworks
- High-level familiarity with AI/ML, GenAI, and MLOps concepts
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, concurrency, design patterns, and REST APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling such as Terraform and GitHub Actions
- Experience with frameworks like LangChain and LangGraph
- Database experience with SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with AWS and MS Azure (GCP experience is a plus)
- Understanding of DevOps model and practices
